Goodbye 2011 :)

Just found this post on tumblr, and I knew I had to repost it here in my blog.

I hated 2011. And yet I loved it.

I loved it because it was a season of restoration, reflection and reinvention. It was a year where although the lows outnumbered the highs, the highs clearly were greater in value than the lows. It was a year of revelation and family. It was a season of meeting new friends, opening up to new experiences and, while there is regret, of maturity. It was a year of discovery and rediscovery, of purpose and vision.

It was of leaving the past and forgiving myself, of starting anew, which still isn’t an easy thing for me to do.

But I will do it anyway.

Because that is how life is: we move on, we forgive, we stop dwelling on the past, we stop focussing on the wrong decisions and we look to the future, regardless of how bleak or clouded the future is.

Because when everything seems at its darkest, the light will always come through. Because the dawn will come, and the promises are still kept. And they will not delay. Because while anger and regret lasts only for a moment, favour remains for a lifetime.

Because there is still hope. No matter how far one has fallen, no matter how many stupid choices one has made, no matter what the past is.

There is Hope.

And there is the Beginning.
2011 was a good year. Let's hope for a better 2012!

Happy New Year everyone!

Stay in God. Stay in Love. Stay in sight of your Goals. Stay Safe. Stay Alive. Stay Happy!

Cheers to 2012! :)

Marriage Proposal!

The sweetest! This made me cry! It's nice to be in LOVE. ♥

I'm in love with the song! I don't even know that its included in the soundtrack of Breaking Dawn! And I'm such a fan of twilight! BOO me.

Last month, my friend Josh treated me and my sister out cause he passed the NCLEX. Yey! It was supposed to be our other friend, but she's busy with work, so my sister was her substitute. :D

Josh bought a voucher for Marciano's. The deal is you pay 500 for 1000 worth of food. Not bad eh?

The food was just okay. We did not enjoy it that much except the Seafood Paella, which is really good.

Here are some pics.

We went there Saturday night I think, so GB was crowded. We were on the waiting list, so we browsed on the menu while waiting for our seat.

Inside the resto while finalizing our orders.

Our food. I can't exactly remember the names. All I remember is the Seafood Paella because that's the only thing we enjoyed! BOO for Marciano's.

Anyway, enough of Marciano's. I swear I will never eat there again. Hmpf!

After dinner, we maximized our chance to boost our vain-ness. Lol. :D Here's the proof.

My sister went home first. So Josh and I just continued our pictorial. It's our bonding, you know! LOL! :D

Still, inside the mall...

After our pictorial session, we went to coffee bean before going home.

Fun night! Too bad my bestie wasn't able to come.

Oh my! I haven't blogged for a very long time. Loser me! Anyway, I've been so busy with school these past couple of months. 2nd year S*CKS! As in it was hell everyday! Exams and quizzes and practicals. Ugh! Med school is slowly killing me! :'( It's just so haaarrrddd I can't put it in words!

We did venipuncture last month, and I enjoyed it. Hahaha! My classmate took a picture of me while we were practicing.

That's it. Med school is f*cking hard! But I know that all the hard work will pay-off soon! *wink*

What I'm Missing.

I can't believe I'm missing on these food treats I recently discovered through the net. Ugh! What's depressing about it, is that they are just near our house in Makati! BOO! So lame of me!

Sophie's Mom. Their 1st branch is just around our village! Hmpf!

I can't wait to try their oh so famous Mochi Ice Cream Balls filled with Frozen Brazo and Vanilla Ice Cream!

Mochi Truffles - Mochi Balls filled with Nutella and coated in Cocoa Powder!

And their Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. Its one of their best sellers. Ooohhh! I can't wait to try it!

I'm really fascinated with their "Stookie", as they call it, which means Stuffed Cookie. Chocolate Chip Cookie stuffed with Oreos.

They also have a wide array of breads and pastries!

Chocolate and Caramel Cream Puffs.

Whole Wheat Pan de Sal.

And their best seller - not your ordinary Spanish Bread.

Next is Fabburito. I read about it in "Our Awesome Planet".

I'm a fan of Mexican food, so I would love to try this out! The thing is, it's located in The Columns, which is a tricycle away from our house!

What's great about Faburrito, is that they use only natural ingredients on their food. Healthy yeah?

Unfortunately, I'm here in Batangas. I'll try them out once I step foot in Makati. Can't Wait! =)
